I am a Kentucky girl and I don’t know if you have heard, but we have a little horse race going on here this weekend. No biggie- just the most exciting two minutes in sports!

I'm from Kentucky too! We're not big planners, but if I'm not home watching the derby we'll be out shopping for our new boat! We are sooo excited for it to stay warm and heat up the lake! It's only 9 days till summer break for our district, counting today!

I went to college in Kentucky and miss it so much. I hate being a northerner again! I will be spending my derby Saturday at an all day scrapbook event- lots of fun with my girls. I think I may do a derby unit next year and bring a little of my beloved state of Kentucky to NY!
